<p>The Gandhi Memorial Center offers special student programs in cooperation with the DC nonprofit organizations: <span class="caps"><span class="caps">CHIME</span></span> (Children’s Help in Music Education) and <span class="caps">MOMIES</span>’ <span class="caps"><span class="caps">TLC</span></span> (an after-school enrichment program). The Gandhi Memorial Center is now a member of the <em>DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative</em> and will be offering more arts programs to DC Public Schools.</p>

<p>In addition to introducing the students to the life ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, artists of Indian music, dance and visual arts have voluntarily offered their services for these educational programs. These contributions have included:</p>

<li>Traditional Indian art forms</li>
<li>Indian classical dance</li>
