<div>The purpose of this contest is to encourage individuals to creatively explore the <span>ideals and message of Mahatma Gandhi through the art of photography.</span></div>

<div>1) "All the religions of the world, while they may differ in other respects, unitedly proclaim that nothing lives in this world but Truth."</div>
<div>2) "In a gentle way, you can shake the world."</div>
<div>3) "Interdependence is and ought to be as much the ideal of man as self-sufficiency."</div>

<div>1) Submit photos you have personally taken that in <span>some way portray one or more of the above themes.</span></div>
<div>2) Submit up to three photos.</div>
<div>3) Photos must be visually appealing with no improper <span>content.</span></div>
<div>4) Submissions may be from amateur as well as <span>professional photographers and will be judged separately.</span></div>
<div>5) Photos may be sent as digital or print images and must include: <span>Name of Photographer, Age, Address and Email Address, brief statement of how the photo depicts the selected theme, and brief bio statement. Please include whether photographer is amateur or professional</span>.</div>

<div>8) The Gandhi Memorial Center has the right to use any submitted photo with <span>recognition given to the artist in website and print publications.</span></div>
<div>9) An online gallery will be created for the top photographs as judged by a <span>panel of select judges including professional and amateur photographers.</span></div>
<div>10) The artist is responsible for obtaining permission to submit the photo from any <span>individuals include in the photo.</span></div>
